Verónica Valerio
Verónica Valerio (born 1981) is a Mexican harpist, singer and composer. She first performed when she was 19, singing boleros with the Juventud Sonera band in her native Puerto de Veracruz. She went on to study blues in New Orleans before attending the Boys & Girls Harbor conservatory in New York. In 2006 she performed at Carnegie Hall and appeared in the documentary ''Arpa Viajera'' produced by New York University. She then returned to Mexico but has since appeared in Asia, the Americas and Europe and has made numerous recordings. In 2021, she collaborated with the American singer and composer Van Dyke Parks. Veracruz
Veracruz (), formally Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave), is one of the 31 states which, along with Mexico City, comprise the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). Lucía Pulido (born 1962) is a Colombian singer who since 1986 has sung traditional music such as cumbia, bullerengue and joropos. In 1994, she moved to New York, where she has performed traditional music and has sung with jazz musicians. Sofia Eugenia Koutsovitis, known professionally as Sofia Rei, is an Argentinian vocalist, songwriter, producer, and educator.
