''Verse 2'' is the first extended play by South Korean male duo JJ Project. It was released on July 31, 2017 under JYP Entertainment and incorporates a variety of genres like pop, hip-hop and rock. The album contains eight tracks, with two only available on the physical release. The track "Tomorrow, Today" was chosen as the lead single for the promotional cycle. Background and composition In 2012, JB and Jinyoung originally debuted as JJ Project under JYP Entertainment with the upbeat hip-hop single "Bounce". JJ Project
JJ Project () is a South Korean duo, consisting of Jay B and Park Jin-young (entertainer, born 1994), Jinyoung. They were formed by JYP Entertainment and released their debut single "Bounce" in May 2012. They later debuted as a part of Got7 in January 2014. Career In 2009, Jay B, Lim Jae-beom and Park Jin-young (entertainer, born 1994), Park Jin-young successfully auditioned for JYP Entertainment and became trainees. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units.
