Veronica Mainetti is an Italian entrepreneur, environmental activist, sustainable developer and visual artist. Founder/CEO oRYSIT Training and beginnings Upon graduation at European Institute of Design in Rome, Mainetti moved to New York City, New York in 2003, attending the Parsons Institute of Design. In the same year she took the helm at Sorgente Group of America, overseeing real estate investment operations in the US. She took part in the acquisition of a significant stake in the Chrysler Building—reselling in 2008—and for the acquisition of the majority stake in the Flatiron Building in New York. Career Conservation and redevelopment of historic buildings in the United States have been Mainetti's main focus since 2003, including the current ongoing restoration of New York City's Flatiron Building. Clock Tower Building, Santa Monica
The Clock Tower Building, built between 1929 and 1930 in Art Déco style, is the 4th highest skyscraper in Santa Monica. For around 40 years it held the record for the tallest building in the skyline. The skyscraper was commissioned by the Bay Cities Guaranty and Loan Association to the Californian architects Albert R. Walker (1881–1958) and Percy A. Eisen (1885–1946), whose firm, Walker & Eisen, with a staff of more than 50 draughtsmen, was the most important leading practice in California in the 1920s. Among its many completed projects, the firm had recently designed the extraordinary skyscraper in the Romanesque Revival style known as the Fine Arts Building in Los Angeles (now owned by Sorgente Group of America), one of the most representative buildings in the city. Daniel Fickle
Daniel Fickle is a film director, photographer, cinematographer, music composer, and the founder of Two Penguins Productions. Early Fickle grew up in and around the Decatur/Atlanta areas of Georgia, displaying and early interest in photography and music amidst the burgeoning 1990s Atlanta hardcore and hip hop scenes. By 2001 he was living in New York City, attending the New York Film Academy, where he first became a teacher's assistant and eventually an instructor, all while working freelance across the city as either an assistant camera, director of photography or music composer for film projects. Tribeca (), originally written as TriBeCa, is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan in New York City. Its name is a syllabic abbreviation of "Triangle Below Canal Street". The "triangle" (more accurately a quadrilateral) is bounded by Canal Street, West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. By the 2010s, a common marketing tactic was to extend Tribeca's southern boundary to either Vesey or Murray streets to increase the appeal of property listings. Fine Arts Building (Los Angeles)
The landmark Fine Arts Building is located at 811 West 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Also known as the Global Marine House, it was declared a historic cultural monument in 1974.
