Venu Nagavalli
Venu Nagavally (16 April 1949 – 10 September 2010) was an Indian actor, screenwriter and director best known for his work in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam film industry. He has directed 12 films. Son of writer, commentator, and broadcaster Nagavally R. S. Kurup, Venu has acted in about fifty films, directed films such as ''Sukhamo Devi'' (1986), ''Sarvakalashala'' (1987), ''Lal Salam (1990 film), Lal Salam'' (1990), and ''Aye Auto'' (1990), and scripted the commercially successful ''Kilukkam'' (1991). Venu Nagavally died at Thiruvananthapuram on 9 September 2010. Biography Venu Nagavally was born on 16 April 1949 as the son of the noted play writer Nagavally R. S. Kurup and Rajamma. Ramankary
Ramankary is a village in the Kuttanad region of India. It is 9 km away from Changanacherry town and 17 km from Alappuzha city. It is one of the villages in Alapuzha on the bank of the Manimala River with picturesque vast paddy fields. Geography The villages bordering Ramankary include Veliyanau on the north, Mampuzhakkary on the east, Manalady on west and Vezhapra on south. Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, (previously called Government Model High School) is a school in Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, India. The school is affiliated to the Kerala State Board of Education and is one of the oldest schools in Kerala. History In 1885, a normal school was started in Trivandrum by the government of Travancore for training male teachers. It was situated in the compound where St.Joseph's Higher Secondary school is at present. In 1903 it was shifted to Thycaud. Kayyur Revolt
Kayyur incident also known as Kayyur uprising or Kayyur Revolt is a series of incidents that occurred in Kayyur village of present-day Kasaragod district during British rule in India. The peaceful farmers protest on 1941 March 28 turned violent and the mob accidentally killed a policeman. 61 were trialed for this violent deed and 4 persons were sentenced to death. Priyadarshan
Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu. He has done about 31 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. He was one of the first directors in India to introduce rich color grading, clear sound and quality dubbing through his early Malayalam films. Priyadarshan has also directed many advertisement films.
