''Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2'' () is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports action film directed by Selva Sekaran. A sequel to ''Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'' (2009), the film is written by the original's director Suseenthiran and features Vikranth and Arthana Binu. An ensemble cast including Pasupathy, Kishore, Anupama Kumar, Soori, Appukutty, and Ganja Karuppu also plays pivotal roles. Featuring music composed by V. Selvaganesh, the venture began production in December 2016 and was released on 12 July 2019. Plot Saravanan makes a living by selling audio cassettes. His father Saamy is a bus driver by profession, but his heart lies in Kabadi, and wherever a match is being played, he makes his presence there, thereby neglecting his work and getting suspended. Saravanan scolds his father often for his mistakes, and the family decides to sell all the jewels that they have and buy an ambassador car for Saamy to drive, but he loses that too for a good deed, angering everyone. Suseenthiran
Suseenthiran is an Indian film director and screenwriter in Tamil cinema. He rose to fame with his directorial debut '' Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'' (2009). Career Suseenthiran, who originally hails from a small village called Amarapoondi in Palani, Dindigul, was always "crazy about films" like his father and his uncle, who had made a film years ago, that never got released. Though his family did not want him to become a director and "waste" his life on films, he was sure that he would be a filmmaker one day. To achieve his dream, he came to Chennai, when he was 18 years old and needed 12 years to make his first film. Suseenthiran had worked as assistant director to prominent filmmakers as S. D. Nitish Veera (1975/6 – 17 May 2021) was an Indian actor who worked in Tamil-language films. Career Veera portrayed small roles in several of them including ''Pudhupettai'' (2006) and ''Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu'' (2009). He contacted Pa. Ranjith who gave him the role of Kathiravan, Rajinikanth and Eashwari Rao's son in '' Kaala'' (2018). He shot for the film for 40 days.
