Andrés Velasco Brañes (; born August 30, 1960) is a Chilean economist and professor who served as Minister of Finance (Chile), Minister of Finance in the first government of President of Chile, President Michelle Bachelet from March 2006 to March 2010. Álvaro Velasco Roca (born 15 May 1981) is a Spanish professional golfer. Velasco was born in Barcelona and attended Coastal Carolina University on a golf scholarship where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
