Vejgaard BK
Vejgaard Boldspilklub is an association football club based in Vejgaard, a suburb of Aalborg, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1925, it is more simply known as 'Vejgaard BK' or 'VB'. The team plays its home matches at Soffy Road. The club hosts an annual youth cup, ''VB Efterårs Cup'', which is held the weekend before the Danish autumn holiday and is for under-13 teams and younger. Vejgaard Boldspilklub has historically been one of Aalborg's less prominent sides, with mainly AaB, but also Aalborg Chang, Lindholm IF and Nørresundby Boldklub having had a more illustrious past. Soffy Road
Soffy Road is an association football stadium in Vejgaard, Aalborg, Aalborg, Denmark. It is the Home (sports), home stadium of Denmark Series club Vejgaard BK. Information on stadium capacity is not available, but the attendance record is 1,005 which happened in the third round Danish Cup matchup against Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland on 27 September 2017. In March 1980, plans for a new stadium were initiated on a local municipal level. These were approved on 14 April by Aalborg mayor :da:Marius Andersen (borgmester 1970-81), Marius Andersen and became effective as of 15 September 1980. The plans would eventually lead to the construction of Soffy Road. Karlsruher SC
Karlsruher SC is a German association football club, based in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg that currently plays in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier of German football. Domestically, the club was crowned German champion in 1909, and won the DFB-Pokal in 1955 and 1956. In Europe, KSC won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996, which remains the club's last major honor. Formed as Karlsruher Fussball Club Phönix in 1894, the modern form of the club was formed as the result of several mergers in 1952, and its early success granted KSC a spot in the inaugural Bundesliga season in 1963. Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. Christian Flindt Bjerg (born 19 February 1974) is a Danish professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Danish 2nd Division club Skive IK. Early life Flindt Bjerg was born in 1974 in Innsbruck, Austria, when his father, the Danish international Ove Flindt Bjerg, played for FC Wacker Innsbruck. 2016–17 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2016–17 Danish 2nd Divisions was divided in three groups of eight teams in the autumn. In spring there was a promotion play-off and a relegation play-off. The top two teams of the promotion play-off group were promoted to the 2017–18 Danish 1st Division. IK Skovbakken merged with Vejlby IK as of 1 July 2016 to form VSK Aarhus. Henrik Larsen (manager, Born 1965)
Henrik Larsen (born 17 May 1966), nicknamed ''Store Larsen'' (''Big Larsen''), is a Danish football manager and former professional player, who played as a midfielder. He was last the manager of Lyngby Boldklub. He was the joint top scorer at the UEFA Euro 1992 which he won with the Denmark national team. He was also part of the Danish squad at Euro 96 where he played his last national team game. In all, he played 39 national team matches and scored five goals. Club career Larsen was born in Lyngby. He started his career in Denmark for Taarbæk IF and then later Lyngby Boldklub. He won the 1985 Danish Cup trophy with Lyngby, and made his Danish national team debut in February 1989. Kastrup Boldklub
Kastrup Boldklub (Kastrup BK or KB for short) is a Denmark, Danish association football club based in the suburb of Kastrup (Tårnby Municipality) on Amager. As of the 2018–19 Denmark Series, 2017/18-season, the club's first senior men's team play in Denmark Series (Danish football league system, level 4). The club was founded on 4 May 1933 as Boldklubben Funkis and changed to the current name in 1941. The senior men's football team have since 1985 primarily played their home games at Kastrup Idrætsanlæg located at Røllikevej, Kastrup next to the club house, but have previously played their matches at Tårnby Stadium during their tenure in the higher ranking leagues, and occasionally still do. Danish 2nd Division
The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. The Danish Football Union ( da, Dansk Boldspil-Union; DBU) is the governing body of football in Denmark. It is the organization of the Danish football clubs and runs the professional Danish football leagues and the men's and women's national teams. It is based in the city of Brøndby and is a founding member of both FIFA and UEFA. The DBU has also been the governing body of futsal in Denmark since 2008.
