Sanskrit
Sanskrit (; attributively , ; nominally , , ) is a classical language belonging to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European languages. It arose in South Asia after its predecessor languages had diffused there from the northwest in the late Bronze Age. Sanskrit is the sacred language of Hinduism, the language of classical Hindu philosophy, and of historical texts of Buddhism and Jainism. ''Veera'' () is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Suresh Krissna and written by Panchu Arunachalam. It is a remake of the Telugu film ''Allari Mogudu'' (1992) and stars Rajinikanth, Meena and Roja with Janagaraj, Senthil, Vadivukkarasi, J. Livingston, Mahesh Anand, Vinu Chakravarthy, Ajay Rathnam, Vivek and Charuhasan in supporting roles. The film is about a man who marries twice because of circumstances beyond his control and is forced to live a double life to cover his tracks. Krissna initially refused to remake ''Allari Mogudu'' because he disliked it but agreed after Rajinikanth told him their next film after ''Annaamalai'' (1992) should be different to avoid comparisons. ''Veera: An Arrow Head of Action'' is a 2011 Telugu-language action comedy film, produced by Ganesh Indukuri under Sanvi Productions banner and directed by Ramesh Varma. Veera is an 2024 Indian Tamil-language television series starring Vaishnavi Arulmozhi, Arun Crizer, Sibbu Suryan and Subiksha Kayarohanam. It currently airs on Zee Tamil on 26 February 2024, and is also available on the digital platform ZEE5. It airs every Monday to Friday at 20:00. Plot Veera is a young girl who lives with her mother, two sisters and brother. The family revolves around Pandiyan, who, along with his mother, defends Veera's childish antics. Maaran drinks alcohol and spends half his time roaming around town, much to his father's disapproval. His aunt is the only one that offers some support to him, along with his brothers. When Pandiyan dies in a road collision caused by Maaran, the tale of events that cause both Veera and Maaran to marry, whilst her older sister Kanmani looks for revenge against Maaran form the premise of the story. Veera (born as Veerabahu) is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. Closely associated with director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Veera has worked previously as Gautham Menon's assistant in the film ''Vaaranam Aayiram'', before making his debut in the director's experimental thriller '' Nadunisi Naaygal'' (2011). Career Veera joined Gautham Menon's directorial team in 2006 and worked with him during the production of ''Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu'' (2006) and ''Pachaikili Muthucharam'' (2007), before being announced as one of the four new male leads in a film titled ''Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam'' to be directed by Menon. The film, set in the backdrop of Chennai's booming IT industry, began its shoot in mid 2007 with Trisha Krishnan leading an ensemble cast but was later delayed and then eventually shelved. Veera Ballala I () succeeded Ereyanga as king of the Hoysala Empire. He was a Jain by faith. His rule was short and uneventful other than subduing the Chengalvas and the Santharas. He made some unsuccessful attempts to overthrow the overlordship of the Western Chalukyas but was brought under control by Chalukya Vikramaditya VI.
