Vedashree Oke is an Indian actress and playback singer in the Marathi film industry. She has sung in Marathi. She was a part of musical program Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in the year 1997. Childhood and Education Vedashree is from a musical family and her father Madhav Khadilkar and mother Asha Khadilkar are also well known Marathi singers. She has an MA in Music with a Gold medal. Career She was a part of Sangeet Natak ( Musical Drama) Kaviraj Jaidev which was the winning drama in Rajya Natya Spardha in Sangli, Maharashtra. Vidyadhar Oke (b 1952) is an Indian doctor, musicologist, harmonium player, and astrology consultant, who has done research in the use of shrutis (microtones) in Indian classical music and created a unique 22-shruti version of the harmonium. Early life Oke is a Doctor of Medicine, MBBS, MD ( pharmacology) from University of Mumbai, India. He later trained in management at the London Business School and Duke University, U.S.A; and in clinical research at Wellcome Trust, UK. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar (), Marathi pronunciation: inaːjək saːʋəɾkəɾ also commonly known as Veer Savarkar (28 May 1883 – 26 February 1966), was an Indian politician, activist, and writer. Savarkar developed the Hindu nationalist political ideology of Hindutva while imprisoned at Ratnagiri in 1922. He was a leading figure in the Hindu Mahasabha. He started using the honorific prefix ''Veer'' meaning "brave" since he wrote his autobiography. Savarkar joined the Hindu Mahasabha and popularized the term ''Hindutva'' (Hinduness), previously coined by Chandranath Basu, to create a collective "Hindu" identity as an essence of Bharat (India).
