Vasile Sfetcu
Vasile Sfetcu (10 May 1937 - 16 September 2016) was a Romanian football goalkeeper and manager. Club career Vasile Sfetcu was born on 10 May 1937 in Ploiești, Romania, starting to play football at junior level in 1951 at local club, Metalul, afterwards going to play for Petrolul Ploiești where he made his Divizia A debut on 24 November 1954 in a 3–1 away loss against Metalul Hunedoara. He went to play one season for Metalul 1 Mai Ploiești in Divizia B, afterwards he returned at Petrolul where in the first two seasons he won two consecutive Divizia A titles in 1957–58 and 1958–59, being used by coach Ilie Oană in 17 matches in the first one and in 20 in the second one. Sfetcu was used as a starter by Oană for '' The Yellow Wolves'' in the 6–1 victory against Siderurgistul Galați from the 1963 Cupa României Final until he was replaced by Mihai Ionescu in the 85th minute and won another Divizia A title with the team in the 1965–66 season, being used by coac ...

Ploiești
Ploiești ( , , ), formerly spelled Ploești, is a city and county seat in Prahova County, Romania. Part of the historical region of Muntenia, it is located north of Bucharest. The area of Ploiești is around , and it borders the Blejoi commune in the north, Bărcănești and Brazi communes in the south, Târgșoru Vechi commune in the west, and Bucov and Berceni communes in the east. According to the 2011 Romanian census, there were 201,226 people living within the city limits, making it the ninth most populous in the country. Ion Voinescu
Ion "Țop" Voinescu (18 April 1929 – 9 March 2018) was a Romanian footballer, who is often considered one of the finest goalkeepers Romania has ever produced. Voinescu joined his first club, Olympia București, in 1939 just before the start of World War II, aged 10. After four years with Olympia, Voinescu left to join another club from Bucharest, ASPIM, but left again after the war's conclusion in 1945, in order to sign his first professional contract with Carmen București, which was one of the best Romanian football teams during the interbelic period. However, he ended up leaving the club a year later, where he joined Solvay Uioara. Voinescu left Solvay Uioara a year later to join RATA Târgu Mureș in 1947, where he remained at for a year before leaving in order to return to Bucharest, where he signed for Metalul București. Silviu Ploeșteanu
Silviu Ploeșteanu (28 January 1913 – 13 April 1969) was a Romanian footballer and manager. Club career Silviu Ploeșteanu, nicknamed ''Ploaie'' (Rain) was born on 28 January 1913 in Craiova, Romania and he started to play football in 1930 at UD Reșița, winning the Divizia A title in his first season as a footballer. In the following season he was a runner-up in Divizia A with UD Reșița, afterwards moving at Universitatea Cluj where he earned another runner-up position with the team in his first season spent at the club. Gheorghe Dungu (5 April 1929 – 15 June 2023) was a Romanian football manager and footballer. Club career Gheorghe Dungu was born on 5 April 1929 in Bucharest, Romania and when he was 6 years old his family moved to Făgăraș where he started playing football at Explosivi Făgăraș, first as a forward and at the age of fifteen or sixteen in a match against Metrom Brașov, the team's goalkeeper got injured and he replaced him, saving a penalty in the game, coach Andrei Sepci deciding to definitely keep him in the goalkeeper position from then on. Constantin Teașcă also known as Titi Teașcă (25 September 1922 – 30 July 1996) was a Romanian association football, football play and manager. Teașcă was the manager of Romania national football team, Romania in 1962 and 1967. He managed Turkish side Fenerbahçe S.K. (football), Fenerbahçe from 1970 to 1971.
