Vantage Airport Group (or Vantage, formerly Vancouver Airport Services or YVRAS) is an airport management, development and investment company with 10 airports in Canada, the United States, Cyprus, The Bahamas and Jamaica. History Vantage Airport Group (Vantage) was formed in 1994 as Vancouver Airport Services (YVRAS), a subsidiary of Vancouver Airport Authority. Vancouver Airport Authority and Vantage Airport Group have a strategic partnership agreement that allows for the sharing of best practices and expertise. YVRAS was part of a consortium that was going to privatize Midway Airport in Chicago. In April 2009 the deal fell through. Vantage led the LaGuardia Gateway Partners consortium bid to operate and redevelop LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B. Halifax International Airport Authority
The Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) is a Canadian airport authority charged with operating Halifax Stanfield International Airport on behalf of Transport Canada. The HIAA was established in November 1995 in advance of changes to the operation of Canadian airports by the federal government. The federal government through its Department of Transport had owned and operated the airport since its construction in 1960, however by the 1990s it was examining ways to reduce the payroll and scope of Transport Canada's activities. Beginning with changes to the Canada Transportation Act in 1995, Transport Canada began to divest the operation of sea ports and airports to non-profit authorities. On February 1, 2000 HIAA took over management of Halifax Stanfield International Airport from Transport Canada. Edmonton Airports, officially the Edmonton Regional Airports Authority, was formed in 1990, under the ''Regional Airports Authorities Act'' passed by the Legislative Assembly of Alberta in 1989, and is responsible for the management and operation of two airports in the Edmonton area. The Regina Airport Authority is the public, not-for-profit agency that oversees the management of the Regina International Airport, which serves the Canadian city of Regina, and, indeed, the entire southern part of the province of Saskatchewan, a region that contains about 495,000 people. The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA; french: Autorité aéroportuaire du Grand Toronto) operates Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, west of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Toronto Pearson is Canada's largest airport facility with a traffic of 49.5 million passengers in 2018. The authority's headquarters are on the airport grounds, at 6301 Silver Dart Drive.
