Vanessa Boslak
Vanessa Boslak (born 11 June 1982) is a French pole vaulter. She was born in Lesquin, France. Boslak represented her country in major international competitions such as the Olympic Games, World Championships, World Indoor Championships, European Championships and European Indoor Championships. Boslak's personal outdoor best is 4.70 metres, achieved at the 2006 European Cup in Málaga on 28 June 2006 and in the pole vault final of the 2007 World Championships in Osaka on 28 August 2007. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking. 2006 European Cup (athletics)
The 2006 Spar European Cup (the 27th) took place in Málaga, Spain and attracted over 2000 athletes from 49 countries. The mascot for the 2006 games was "Manolito" the Octopus, it was chosen from the drawings submitted in a contest aimed at Andalusian schoolchildren, the winner was Eva Simancas Rubio, aged 11 from ‘Julio Caro Baroja’. The top two teams for both men and women qualified for the 2006 IAAF World Cup. European Athletics Championships
The European Athletics Championships is a biennial (from 2010) athletics event organised by the European Athletics Association and is recognised as the elite continental outdoor athletics championships for Europe.
