Anthony Van Dyck (horse)
Anthony Van Dyck (19 May 2016 – 3 November 2020) was an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse, best known for winning the 2019 Epsom Derby. He was a top-class two-year-old in 2018 when he won three of his seven races including the Tyros Stakes and the Futurity Stakes as well as finishing second in the National Stakes and third in the Dewhurst Stakes. He won the Derby Trial Stakes on his three-year-old debut before taking the Epsom Derby on 1 June. Later that year he was placed in the Irish Derby, Irish Champion Stakes and Breeders' Cup Turf. He remained in training as a four-year-old in 2020, winning the Prix Foy and running second in both the Coronation Cup and the Caulfield Cup. He was euthanized after breaking down in the 2020 Melbourne Cup on 3 November 2020. Richard Wayne Van Dyke (born December 13, 1925) is an American actor, entertainer and comedian. His award-winning career has spanned seven decades in film, television, and stage. Van Dyke began his career as an entertainer on radio and television, in nightclubs, and on the Broadway stage. In 1961, he starred in the original production of ''Bye Bye Birdie'' alongside Chita Rivera, a role which earned him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Carl Reiner then cast him as Rob Petrie on the CBS television sitcom ''The Dick Van Dyke Show'' (1961–1966), which made him a household name. Walther Von Dyck
Walther Franz Anton von Dyck (6 December 1856 – 5 November 1934), born Dyck () and later ennobled, was a German mathematician. He is credited with being the first to define a mathematical group, in the modern sense in . He laid the foundations of combinatorial group theory, being the first to systematically study a group by generators and relations. Biography Von Dyck was a student of Felix Klein, and served as chairman of the commission publishing Klein's encyclopedia. Von Dyck was also the editor of Kepler's works. Vedder Van Dyck
Vedder Van Dyck (July 18, 1889 - August 2, 1960) was the fifth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont. Biography A graduate of Columbia College (1918) and the General Theological Seminary in New York (1914), he was consecrated on February 24, 1936. His consecrators were James DeWolf Perry, Henry Knox Sherrill and John T. Dallas. Prior to this, Van Dyck was served Saint Mary's Church in Amityville, New York, where he was ordained as deacon (April 25, 1914), priest (1915), and priest-in-charge and rector (1917–1929). He died in office on August 2, 1960, and was succeeded by Harvey D. Butterfield.
