Vamp (Akina Nakamori Album)
''Vamp'' is the fourth mini studio album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori. It was released on 18 December 1996 under the MCA Records label and produced by Nakamori. Background ''Vamp'' is her only mini album which was released under MCA Records. It's also her first mini album to be released for the first time in eight years. The album consists of four new songs, which weren't released as a single neither in the original albums. In 2008, all songs were recorded in the first press edition of compilation album of her works from the 1990s, ''Utahime Densetsu: 90's Best''. is a Japanese Singing, singer and Actor, actress. She is one of the most popular and best-selling artists in Japan. Akina achieved national recognition after winning the 1981 season of the talent show ''Star Tanjō!''. Her debut single "Slow Motion (Akina Nakamori song), Slow Motion" was released to moderate success, peaking at number thirty on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Nakamori's popularity increased with the release of her follow-up single, "Shōjo A", which peaked at number five on the Oricon charts and sold over 390,000 copies. MCA Records was an American record label owned by MCA Inc., which later became part of Universal Music Group. Pre-history MCA Inc., a powerful talent agency and a television production company, entered the recorded music business in 1962 with the purchase of the New York-based US Decca Records (established in 1934), including Coral Records and Brunswick Records. ''Shaker'' is the seventeenth studio album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori and third studio album to be released during the 1990s. It was released on 21 March 1997 under the MCA Records label. The album includes lead singles " Moonlight Shadow: Tsuki ni Hoero" and " Appetite". It was Nakamori's final album released under MCA Records, before her transfer to Gauss Entertainment label. In 2002 was released re-printed version of the album ''Shaker+3'' which includes the original version of "Moonlight Shadow", "Appetite" and B-side track "Sweet Suspicion", which was previously unreleased in the album recordings. Gorō Matsui
is a Japanese lyricist born 11 December 1957 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, though he considers Tokyo to be his hometown. Beginning with participation in the Yamaha Popular Song Contests, he made his debut writing the lyrics for the 1981 Chage and Aska album . Matsui then began writing lyrics for groups such as Anzen Chitai, Kyosuke Himuro, and others, becoming one of the more popular lyricists for a variety of rock bands. He has now written the lyrics for over 2000 songs. Since the late 1980s, most of the lyrics for the music released by Anzen Chitai has been written by Matsui.
