Valerio Magrelli
Valerio Magrelli (born 1957, Rome) is an Italian poet. He graduated in philosophy at the University of Rome and is an expert in French literature which he has taught and teaches at University of Pisa and University of Cassino. He debuted as an author at age twenty-three with a collection of poems entitled ''Ora serrata retinae.'' He Won the Viareggio Prize in 1987. In 2020 he adheres at the Empathic Movement (Empathism) arose in the same year in the South of Italy. He won Cilento Poetry Prize in 2022. Cilento Poetry Prize
Cilento Poetry Prize (Italian: ''Premio Cilento Poesia''), is an Italian literary prize founded in 2017 by the poet, writer and literary critic Menotti Lerro and awarded annually, in the month of August, in Salento Cilento - "The Poetry Village". Criteria for nomination The prize is awarded to "a poet who, during the preceding year, has published a collection of poems already considered relevant to be part of the history of literature, or the same prize is conferred to a distinguished poet for the importance of his/her career”. Arnoldo Mondadori Editore () is the biggest publishing company in Italy. History The company was founded in 1907 in Ostiglia by 18-year-old Arnoldo Mondadori who began his publishing career with the publication of the magazine ''Luce!''. Enzo Siciliano (27 May 1934 – 9 June 2006) was an Italian writer, playwright, literary critic and intellectual. Siciliano was born in Rome. He was collaborator of Alberto Moravia, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Elsa Morante and many other famous writers in the 1950s and 1960s. __NOTOC__ From 1996 to 1998 he was President of RAI (Italian State Television).
