During the 2001 Miss Star Hellas pageant she won the title Miss Hellas (Greek: ''Miss Ελλάς'') and was chosen to represent Greece at the Miss World pageant which was held in Sun City, South Africa South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa (RSA), is the southernmost country in Africa. The Star Hellas, Miss Hellas, Miss Young title is a trademark for Vassilis Prevelakis and Associates E.E. George Prevelakis, the founder of the company, was the driving force behind the Hellenic Beauty Pageant since the late 1960s.
