Valentin Mogilny
Valentin Viktorovich Mogilny (russian: Валентин Викторович Могильный; 18 December 1965 – 22 November 2015) was an artistic gymnast who competed for the USSR during the 1980s. His teammates were Yuri Korolev, Dmitri Bilozerchev, Valeri Liukin, and Vladimir Artemov. He trained at the Army Club in Leninsk-Kuznetsky, then moved to Moscow to work with coach Alexander Alexandrov. Mogilny was divorced from his wife Olga Bicherova (1981 world champion), with whom he had a son. Mogilny lived his last years in France France (), officially the French Republic ( ), is a country primarily located in Western Europe. Dmitry Vladimirovich Bilozerchev (russian: Дмитрий Владимирович Билозерчев, born 22 December 1966 in Moscow) is a Russian gymnastics coach and retired gymnast who represented the Soviet Union. One of the most accomplished gymnasts in history, he is a two-time World All-Around Champion and three-time Olympic Champion. He trained at the Armed Forces sports society in Moscow. Olga Bicherova
Olga Anatolyevna Bicherova (born 26 October 1967 or 26 October 1966 in Moscow, Russian SFSR) is a retired Soviet gymnast, who won the women's all-around gold medal at the 1981 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Career Bicherova began gymnastics at age 7, initially training at the CSKA Moscow sports school and later representing the Armed Forces sports society. Her first major success was at the 1980 Junior Friendship Tournament, where she won the team gold, all-around title and placed first on the vault. A year later, Bicherova won the team gold and all-around gold at the 1981 World Championships, starting a series of major international successes, which included the all-around title at both the 1982 World Cup and the 1983 European Championships. She didn't compete at the boycotted 1984 Summer Olympics and also missed the Friendship Games. Valeri Liukin
Valeri Viktorovich Liukin (russian: Валерий Викторович Люкин; born 17 December 1966 in Aktyubinsk, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union) is a Soviet-born Russian-American retired artistic gymnast turned gymnastics coach. As a competitor for the former Soviet Union, Liukin was the 1988 Olympic champion in the team competition and individually on the horizontal bar, and Olympic silver medalist in the all-around and the parallel bars. Liukin was the first man to do a triple back flip on floor and both a layout Tkatchev and a Jaeger with full twist on high bar. He also has one of the most difficult skills in men's artistic gymnastics named after him, the triple back (tucked) somersault. Yuri Nikolayevich Korolyov (russian: Юрий Николаевич Королёв; born 25 August 1962 in Vladimir) is a Soviet artistic gymnast who competed during the 1980s, winning many World and European Medals.
