Vakulabharanam (pronounced ) is a rāgam in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music). It is the 14th ''melakarta'' rāgam in the 72 ''melakarta'' rāgam system of Carnatic music. It is called Dhātivasantabhairavi''Ragas in Carnatic music'' by Dr. S. Bhagyalekshmy, Pub. 1990, CBH Publications''Raganidhi'' by P. Subba Rao, Pub. 1964, The Music Academy of Madras or Vātivasantabhairavi in Muthuswami Dikshitar school of Carnatic music. In Western Music, it is E major. Structure and Lakshana It is the 2nd rāgam in the 3rd ''chakra Agni''. The mnemonic name is ''Agni-Sri''. The mnemonic phrase is ''sa ra gu ma pa dha ni''. ''Muthal Vasantham'' () is a 1986 Indian Tamil-language masala film, directed by Manivannan and produced by P. Kalaimani, who also wrote the film's story. It stars Pandiyan, Chandrasekar, Ramya Krishnan and Mahalakshmi. The film, released on 22 May 1986, was remade in Telugu as ''Asthulu Anthasthulu'' (1988) and in Hindi by Manivannan as '' Hum Bhi Insaan Hain'' (1989). Rāga
A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music. Each ''rāga'' is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience. Each ''rāga'' provides the musician with a musical framework within which to improvise. Melakarta
Mēḷakartā is a collection of fundamental musical scales ( ragas) in Carnatic music (South Indian classical music). ''Mēḷakartā'' ragas are parent ragas (hence known as ''janaka'' ragas) from which other ragas may be generated. A ''melakarta'' raga is sometimes referred as ''mela'', ''karta'' or ''sampurna'' as well, though the latter term is inaccurate, as a ''sampurna'' raga need not be a ''melakarta'' (take the raga ''Bhairavi,'' for example). Ilaiyaraja
Ilaiyaraaja (born R. Gnanathesikan, 3 June 1943) is an Indian musician, composer, arranger, conductor, orchestrator, instrumentalist, lyricist and singer, popular for his works in Indian Cinema, prominently in Tamil films. Reputed to be one of the most prolific Indian composers, in a career spanning over forty-five years, he has composed over 7,000 songs and provided film scores for over 1,000 films, apart from performing in over 20,000 concerts. Mysore Vasudevachar
Mysore Vasudevacharya (28 May 1865 – 17 May 1961) was an Indian musician and composer of Carnatic music compositions who belonged to the direct line of Thyagaraja's disciples. Vasudevachar's compositions (numbering over 200) were mostly in Telugu and Sanskrit. Some of his most popular kritis include ''Broche varevaru ra'' in Khamas raga, ''Devadideva'' in Sunadavinodini, ''Mamavatu Sri Saraswati'' in Hindolam, ''Shankari Ninne'' in Pantuvarali, ''Bhajare Re Manasa'' in Abheri and ''Ra Ra Rajeevalochana Rama'' in Mohanam. He was a recipient of the civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan. He is credited with two writings in Kannada, one of them an autobiography called ''Nenapugalu'' (memories) and ''Na Kanda Kalavidaru'' (the musicians I have met) in which he wrote the biographies of many well known musicians. ''Sivandha Mann'' () is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written, produced and directed by C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Kanchana, with S. V. Ranga Rao, M. N.
