Vung Tau Port is a group of seaports, one of the sea transport hubs of Vietnam. Vung Tau Port is located in Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province, Southeast region, Vietnam. Vung Tau port includes the following component ports: *Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port, Sao Mai-Ben Dinh: This is the main port for container transport. Currently, the port is capable of receiving ships up to 200,000 DWT. The main container terminals are TCTT/TCIT, CMIT, TCTT, SSIT and Gemalink (expected to officially open January 2020). *Ports of Phu My, My Xuan: a general port, a container port capable of receiving ships up to 30,000 DWT. Vũng Tàu
Vũng Tàu (''Hanoi accent:'' , ''Saigon accent:'' ) is an important port city in southern Vietnam. It serves as the maritime port of Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. Vũng Tàu covers of area and consists of 16 urban wards and one commune of Long Sơn Island. Vũng Tàu was the capital of the province until it was replaced by the much smaller Bà Rịa city on 2 May 2012. The city is also the crude oil extraction center of Vietnam. Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu Province
Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu (abbreviated BRVT) was formerly a province of Vietnam. It was located on the coast of the country's Southeast region. It bordered Đồng Nai to the north, Bình Thuận to the northeast and Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area to the southwest. It also included the Côn Đảo islands, located some distance off Vietnam's southeastern coast. From 1954 to 1976, under South Vietnam, the province was called Phước Tuy.
