Víctor Unamuno
Victorio Unamuno Ibarzabal (21 May 1909 – 20 May 1988), also known as Unamuno I, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He amassed La Liga totals of 144 games and 101 goals, with Athletic Bilbao and Betis. Career Unamuno was born in Bergara, Gipuzkoa. After helping Deportivo Alavés to the semi-finals of the 1928 Copa del Rey he was signed by neighbouring Athletic Bilbao to be part of their team in the newly-formed national league. He went on win two La Liga titles and four consecutive domestic cups, notably forming an attacking partnership with Bata, Guillermo Gorostiza, José Iraragorri, Chirri II and Lafuente. In the summer of 1933, Unamuno joined Real Betis. In the 1934–35 season he scored a team-best 13 goals, and the club won its first and only national championship. 1931 Copa Del Rey
The Republic's Cup 1931 was the 31st staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spain, Spanish Association football, football cup competition. With the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic on April 14, all teams with "Real" ("Royal") in their names, changed it due to anti-monarchic reasons. Real Sociedad changes to Donostia FC. Most of this changes were done between first and second legs of the first round. Biscay Championship
The Biscay Regional Championship ''(Campeonato Regional de Vizcaya)'', also called the North Regional Championship ''(Campeonato Regional Norte)'' in its early editions, was an official football tournament in Spain organised by the North Football Federation. It was played annually between 1913 and 1940 and served to elect the representatives of the region in the Spanish Cup, which at that time served as the overall annual national championship. Pichichi Trophy
In Spanish football, the Trofeo Pichichi is awarded by the sports newspaper '' Marca'' to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season. Named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Rafael "Pichichi" Moreno, the trophy has been awarded annually since the 1952–53 season. All top scorers who preceded the award's creation were retroactively named Pichichi winners by ''Marca''. Since the 2014–15 season, the top scorer of the Liga Iberdrola is also awarded the Pichichi Trophy. The Pichichi is not officially recognised by the league's governing body, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. The 1939–40 La Liga was the ninth season since its establishment and the first one after the Spanish Civil War, that forced to suspend the competition during three years. The season started on December 3, 1939, and finished on April 28, 1940. Despite being relegated in the previous season, Atlético Aviación won its first title ever.
