Víctor Manuel San José Sánchez (born 7 July 1947) is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He has been married to the Spanish singer and actress Ana Belén since 1972. He and his wife are considered symbols of the Spanish Transition, and his songs and albums often feature boldly-titled works with social and political content. Mieres is a municipality of Asturias, northern Spain, with approximately 38,000 inhabitants. Miguel Ríos
Miguel Ríos Campaña (born 7 June 1944) is a Spanish singer, composer, actor. He is one of the pioneers of rock and roll in Spain. Biography Ríos was born in La Cartuja, a neighborhood of Granada. The youngest of seven children, he went to work in a local bar at the age of fifteen after little formal education. His interest in rock and roll led him to participate in a song contest at Cenicienta 60 radio station, in which he and his friends won a prize for singing the Paul Anka song "You Are My Destiny". With his mother's permission (his father had died a few months earlier), he moved to Madrid in 1961 at the age of sixteen, where he recorded his first four songs. Northwest Iberian folk music is a traditional highly distinctive folk style, located along Spain's north-west Atlantic coast, mostly Galicia and Asturias, that has some similarities with the neighbouring area of Cantabria. The Nuberu ( Asturian and Cantabrian), Nubero ( Castilian) or Nubeiro ( Galician) -literally "''The Clouder''"- is a character of Asturian, Cantabrian, Galician and northern Castilian mythology. According to Asturian mythology, the ''Nuberu'' (also known in Western Asturias as Reñubeiru or Xuan Cabritu), is the divinity of clouds and storms. In some stories he is an individual, in other, the Nuberu is a species of dwarf-like beings with the power to control the weather. Sometimes it is represented as a man with a thick beard, who wears goat leathers and a big hat. Their appearance changes from region to region but they are usually elderly, winged, dark and terribly ugly. He is considered one of the most important figures of modern, popular music in both the Spanish and Catalan languages.
