Värmlands Fotbollförbund
The Värmlands Fotbollförbund ''(Värmland Football Association)'' is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in the historical province of Värmland. Background Värmlands Fotbollförbund, commonly referred to as Värmlands FF, is the governing body for football in the historical province of Värmland, which corresponds with Värmland County (plus Karlskoga and Degerfors in Örebro County). The Association was founded on 2 April 1918 and currently has 138 member clubs. Based in Karlstad, the Association's Chairman is Annelie Larsson. Karlstad
Karlstad (, ) is the 20th-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Karlstad Municipality, the capital of Värmland County, and the largest city in the province Värmland in Sweden. The city proper had 65,856 inhabitants in 2020 with 95,167 inhabitants in the wider municipality in 2021, and is the 21st biggest municipality in Sweden. Karlstad has a university and a cathedral. During recent years, Karlstad has started building many new buildings, for example all the new buildings around Orrholmen, hosting a brand new Coop store and a 17 story high rise apartment which will be finished in late 2022. Mallbackens IF
Mallbackens IF is a football club from Mallbacken, 15 kilometres north of Sunne in Värmland, Sweden. The club was established in 1942 and played in the Women's premier division (Damallsvenskan) for the first time in 1986. They currently play in Sweden's second division, the Elitettan. The club play their home games at Strandvallen Stadium in Mallbacken. The team colours are green and white. The District Football Associations are the local governing bodies of association football in Sweden. District FAs exist to govern all aspects of local football in their defined areas, providing grassroots support to the Swedish Football Association by promoting and administering football, futsal and beach soccer in their respective districts. Most of the 24 District FAs align roughly with the boundaries of the historic Provinces of Sweden, although Stockholm FA and Gothenburg FA cover the two major cities and their immediate conurbations. Swedish Football Division 7
Division 7 is the ninth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 47 sections with 9 to 12 football teams in each. The competition There are 47 groups of 10 to 12 teams each representing a local geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 18 to 22 games depending on the number of teams. The top team in each Division 7 group is promoted to Division 6 and the second placed teams may also be promoted or participate in the promotion/relegation play-offs. If there are divisions covering tier 10 the bottom two teams in the Division 7 group are relegated to Division 8. Strömtorps IK is a Swedish football club located in the neighbourhood of Strömtorp in Degerfors. Background Strömtorps Idrottsklubb is a sports club from Degerfors.
