Városföld–Slobodnica Pipeline
The Városföld–Slobodnica pipeline is a bi-directional high pressure natural gas pipeline between Városföld in Hungary and Slobodnica in Croatia. It is a part of the New European Transmission System. The pipeline is operated by FGSZ in Hungary and by Plinacro in Croatia. Length of the pipeline is , of which is located in Hungary and in Croatia. The pipeline has diameter of and its working pressure is . Its capacity is . The pipeline has compressor stations at Városföld and Báta, and international metering stations at Drávaszerdahely and Donji Miholjac. It cost €395 million. References

Slobodnica is a village in the municipality of Sibinj of the Brod-Posavina County. The village is adjacent to the western borders of the city of Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Plinacro is a natural gas transmission system operator in Croatia. History Plinacro was founded on 1 February 2001 as a subsidiary of INA. Since March 2002, Plinacro is a fully state-owned company. Operations Plinacro operates of high pressure gas pipelines. On 3 March 2009, Plinacro signed an agreement with FGSZ Zrt, a subsidiary of MOL Group, to build a natural gas interconnector between Croatia and Hungary, which would allow two-way shipments after the Adria LNG terminal is built on the island of Krk. New European Transmission System
The New European Transmission System (NETS) is a project to unite Central and South Eastern Europe's natural gas transmission networks by creating a common gas transmission system operator (TSO). The project is foreseen to create a sizable and efficient regional gas market that significantly enhances gas supply security in the participating countries. History The NETS project was proposed by the Hungarian energy company MOL in December 2007. Original invitation to join this project was sent to gas TSOs in Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia with possible extension to other gas TSOs in Central and South Eastern Europe.
