Vytenis Lipkevičius
Vytenis Lipkevičius (born May 19, 1989) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Standing at , he primarily plays at the small forward position. Professional career On 11 August 2010, Lipkevičius joined Rūdupis Prienai of the LKL, after being loaned by Žalgiris Kaunas. For the 2011–12 season, he went on loan to Baltai Kaunas. On 28 October 2011, Lipkevičius was brought back from his loan by Žalgiris. On 24 July 2013, Lipkevičius re-signed with the club until the end of the 2015–16 season. On 20 July 2015, he signed a new two-year contact with Žalgiris. On 12 September 2016, Lipkevičius mutually parted ways with the club and subsequently joined Vytautas Prienai-Birštonas. On 10 June 2017, Lipkevičius signed a one-year deal with s.Oliver Würzburg of the German Basketball Bundesliga. BC Žalgiris
Basketball Club Žalgiris ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Žalgiris) is a professional basketball team that is based in Kaunas, Lithuania, and competes domestically in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL, Lithuanian Basketball League). Founded in 1944, it is one of the oldest teams in the EuroLeague. Žalgiris is one of 11 European clubs to hold long-term licenses with the EuroLeague, which provides a guaranteed place in the regular-season phase of this league. Since the 2011–12 season, Žalgiris plays its home games in Žalgiris Arena, which was built just before EuroBasket 2011. The club's name commemorates the victorious ''Battle of Žalgiris'' (Battle of Grunwald). Both ''Žalgiris'' and ''Grunwald'' translate to "green wood". Lithuania Men's National Basketball Team
The Lithuania men's national basketball team ( lt, Lietuvos nacionalinė vyrų krepšinio rinktinė) represents Lithuania in international basketball competitions. They are controlled by the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Lithuania. Despite Lithuania's small size, with a population of less than 3 million, the country's devotion to basketball has made them a traditional force of the sport in Europe. The Lithuanian national team won the last EuroBasket tournaments prior to World War II, in 1937 and 1939. LSU-Atletas Basketball Players
KK Atletas ( lt, Kauno rajono Krepšinio Klubas Atletas) is a professional basketball club that is based in Kaunas district, Lithuania. Currently the team plays in the National Basketball League, in the past Atletas participated in the LKL and the Baltic League, before dissolving in 2007 and becoming BC Aisčiai-Atletas. In 2009, the team merged with BC Kaunas Triobet and played with the names of Kaunas, Baltai and LSU-Baltai. In 2013 club was renamed again to LSU-Atletas, which was merged with the NKL champions of the same name. Atletas are multiple time LKL finalists, and were once considered to be one of the strongest teams in Lithuania.
