Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey. In ice hockey, two opposing teams use ice hockey sticks to control, advance and shoot a closed, vulcanized, rubber disc called a " puck" into the other team's goal. Each goal is worth one point. They are members of the Tarasov Division of the Kontinental Hockey League. Keramin Minsk ''( Belar. Керамин-Минск)'' was an ice hockey team from Minsk, Belarus. They played in the Belarusian Extraleague until 2010 where the team disbanded due to financial reasons. History The club was created in 1998 under the name HC Minsk. In 2001, the club changed name to Keramin Minsk. In 2008 they signed an affiliation to be a feeder club for Dinamo Minsk, who play in the Kontinental Hockey League.
