Vysakh
Ebbey Abraham (born 1 June 1980), better known by his stage name Vysakh, is an Indian film director who works in Malayalam films. He began his career as a television anchor and later as an associate director to Joshiy and Johny Antony. He debuted as an independent director in 2010 with '' Pokkiri Raja'' starring Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran. In 2016, his directorial ''Pulimurugan'' starring Mohanlal and Jagapathi Babu became one of the first Malayalam film to gross around crore at the box office. Early life Ebbey Abraham was born in 1980 at Kalliot, Kanhangad, Kasaragod district, as the son of K. C. Abraham and Mariyamma Abraham. Pulimurugan
''Pulimurugan'' is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by Vysakh and starring Mohanlal in the title role. It was produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam through Mulakuppadam Films and was written by Udayakrishna—half of the duo Udayakrishna and Sibi K. Thomas—in his first independent screenplay. The film also stars Kamalinee Mukherjee, Jagapati Babu, Lal, Namitha, Vinu Mohan, and Bala in supporting roles. The film score and soundtrack were composed by Gopi Sundar, while cinematography was handled by Shaji Kumar and edited by Johnkutty. Principal photography commenced on 16 July 2015 in Hanoi, Vietnam, and was completed in early February 2016. The film was released in India on 7 October 2016. ''Pokkiri Raja'' () is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film written by the duo Udaykrishna–Sibi K. Thomas, directed by debutante Vysakh and starring Mammootty and Prithviraj Sukumaran with the supporting cast including Shriya Saran, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Riyaz Khan. Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail (; born 7 September 1951), known mononymously by the hypocorism Mammootty (), is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam films. Johny Antony is an Indian film director and actor, known for making comedy films in Malayalam cinema. He is from Changanassery in Kottayam district, Kerala.
