Vugar Abbasov ( Azerbaijani: ''Vüqar Abbasov Zakir oğlu''; born 12 April 1974) is a Member of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan (VI convocation), Chairman of the Football Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, chairman of the management board of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, President of Cahan Holding. Life Vugar Zakir oglu Abbasov was born on April 12, 1974, in the city of Nakhchivan. He started his first education in 1981 at secondary school number 7 in Nakhchivan city and graduated from it in 1991 with a red certificate. In the same year, he was admitted to the Faculty of Economics of Nakhchivan State University and graduated with honors in 1996. During the years 1998–2001, he was awarded with a red diploma at the Faculty of Law and Economics of Nakhchivan State University. The Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic ( az, Naxçıvan Muxtar Respublikasının Ali Məclisi) is the legislative assembly of Nakhchivan. It was established in 1990, when Nakchivan declared independence from the Soviet Union to become an autonomous republic of Azerbaijan. Nakhchivan State University (NSU) ( Azerbaijani: Naxçıvan Dövlət Universiteti) is a public university located in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan. Founded in 1967 as a part of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute, in 1990 it became the Nakhchivan State University. It has 703 faculty members and currently enrolls 35,000 students.
