Vsetín District () is a Okres, district in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is the town of Vsetín. Districts Of The Czech Republic
Districts of the Czech Republic are territorial units, formerly used as second-level administrative divisions of the Czech Republic. After their primary administrative function has been abolished in 2003, they still exist for the activities of specific authorities and as statistical units. Their administrative function was moved to selected municipalities. Establishment In 1960, Czechoslovakia was re-divided into districts (''okres'', Grammatical number, plural ''okresy''), often without regard to traditional division and local relationships. In the area of the Czech Republic, there were 75 districts; the 76th Jeseník District was split from Šumperk District in 1996. Hošťálková
Hošťálková is a municipality and village in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,300 inhabitants. Geography Hošťálková is located about west of Vsetín and northeast of Zlín. It lies in the Hostýn-Vsetín Mountains. The highest point is the mountain Maruška at above sea level. The Ratibořka Stream originates here and flows across the municipality. History The first written mention of Hošťálková is from 1505, but the village was probably founded in the 14th century. Until 1678, Hošťálková belonged to the Vsetín estate. From 1678, it was a separate estate. Demographics Transport There are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality. Krhová
Krhová () is a municipality and village in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,200 inhabitants. Geography Krhová is located about north of Vsetín and southwest of Ostrava. The southern part of the municipality lies in the Rožnov Furrow valley and the northern part lies in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range. The highest point is at above sea level. The stream Srní potok flows through the municipality. History The first written mention of Krhová is from 1442.
