Voyager (comics)
Voyager (Va Nee Gast), initially known by the alias Valerie Vector) is a fictional superhero, superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Mark Waid, Al Ewing, Jim Zub, Michael Allred, and Laura Allred, the character first appeared in ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'' #675 as part of the ''Avengers: No Surrender'' storyline. Voyager was initially presented as a "lost" founding member of the Avengers (comics), Avengers, but was subsequently revealed to be the daughter and ally of the Grandmaster (Marvel Comics), Grandmaster, one of the Elders of the Universe, before truly defecting to the Avengers' side. The Avengers (comics)
The Avengers are a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team made its debut in '' The Avengers'' #1 (cover-dated Sept. 1963), created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby. Labeled "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", the original Avengers consisted of Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hulk, Thor and the Wasp. Captain America was discovered trapped in ice in issue #4, and joined the group after they revived him. The Avengers are an all-star ensemble cast of established superhero characters from the Marvel Comics portfolio. Diegetically, these superheroes usually operate independently but occasionally assemble as a team to tackle especially formidable villains. An American comic book is a thin periodical originating in the United States, on average 32 pages, containing comics. While the form originated in 1933, American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of ''Action Comics'', which included the debut of the superhero Superman. Edwin Jarvis is a supporting character in the Marvel Comics titles ''Iron Man'' and ''Avengers (comics), The Avengers''. He is the loyal household butler of the Stark family. Vision (Marvel Comics)
The Vision is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Roy Thomas and artist John Buscema, the character first appeared in ''The Avengers (comic book), Avengers'' #57 (published in August 1968, with a cover date of October 1968), and is loosely based on the Timely Comics Vision (Timely Comics), character of the same name who was an alien from another dimension.
