''Voyager'' is the first studio album by American band Walter Meego. It consists of 11 tracks, including re-recorded album versions of the previously released tracks "Wanna Be a Star" and "Keyhole". It was released May 27, 2008. Walter Meego
Walter Meego was an American band from Chicago, Illinois. The bandmembers now live in Los Angeles, California. History Walter Meego was formed in 2004 by Justin Sconza (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Pat Pellegrini, and Colin Yarck (production) in the basement of Pellegrini's house. Patrick Pellegrini left the band in 2005, and Andrew Adzemovic (guitar and vocals) joined the band in 2017. They released a series of EPs before their debut album, "Voyager" was released in May 2008. The band's second full-length LP "Wondervalley" was released in November 2010 as a free download on the band's website and as a paid download on iTunes. Almost Gold Recordings is an independent record label. It was founded in 2007 in New York City by Scott Rodger of Quest Management with distribution in North America through Columbia Records. The first release on Almost Gold was the Peter Bjorn and John album ''Writer's Block'', on February 6, 2007. Almost Gold is now fully independent in North America having severed ties with Columbia Records. Almost Gold Recordings is a partnership between Scott Rodger and Clare Britt (formerly of Rough Trade and Island Records), with distribution Worldwide through Mercury Records. Startime International
Startime International is a record label founded in 2000 by Isaac Green, owned by Sony Music Entertainment, based in New York City, and distributed by Columbia Records. Its roster includes Foster the People, Coin, Natalie Prass, Bully, Made Violent, Lewis Del Mar, and The Big Moon. History Green moved to Brooklyn and out of his apartment started the label, armed with one band, the French Kicks. Startime's first release was the Kick's EP '' Young Lawyer'' in late 2000, and since then the label's roster has grown significantly with bands picked by Green not for their marketability but for sheer talent. This has paid off with a lot of indie cred points, and with more major labels looking to sign away Startime's acts like Brendan Benson and The Walkmen. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Okayplayer is an online hip-hop and alternative music website and community, described by ''Rolling Stone'' as a "tastemaker" and "an antidote to dull promotional Web sites used by most artists". The community was founded by The Roots' drummer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson and author Angela Nissel as a loose musical collective in 1987, and evolved into an online community in 1999. In 2004, Questlove launched Okayplayer Records as a spin-off of the community, in partnership with Decon. After a near-decade hiatus, the label was rebooted in 2012 with Danny! as its flagship artist.
