Voskresenka is a district of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, and is a historical region on the left bank of the river Dnipro. History Voskresenka emerged on the base of former village Voskresenska Slobidka (Slobodka) of Oster povit Chernigiv gubernia of Russian empire.
