Taron Voskanyan ( hy, Տարոն Ոսկանյան, born 22 February 1993) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Alashkert and the Armenia national team. Club career Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Voskanyan was a pupil of the Pyunik Yerevan football school. Having begun his career with the youth team, he went to play for Pyunik-2, the reserve team, appearing in eight matches in second-tier Armenian First League during the 2010 season. Andranik Voskanyan ( hy, Անդրանիկ Ոսկանյան; born 11 April 1990), is an Armenian football player who plays as a defender. Club career Andranik Voskanyan loved football from early childhood. When he was in the first grade, a football coach visited looking for children interested in playing football. Voskanyan did not miss the opportunity and started to go to training. He began his career in the football school of Malatia Yerevan (now school property of Banants Yerevan) under the direction of Hakob Andreasyan. He started playing for Mika-2 in the Armenian First League in 2008. Two years later, Voskanyan made his debut for the first team Mika Yerevan in the Armenian Premier League. Artur Voskanyan ( hy, Արթուր Ոսկանյան, born 13 August 1976 in Yerevan) is an Armenian football coach and former player. He is the current head coach of Armenia national under-21 football team. Club career Artur Voskanyan began his career in Zvartnots Echmiadzin, for which he played 11 games in his first season. At that time, he was still 17 years old. Zvartnots soon had a number of unsuccessful performances and soon became SKA-Arai Echmiadzin and was demoted from the Armenian Premier League to the Armenian First League. After leaving the club, Voskanyan moved to Van Yerevan. He managed to play only two seasons for Van, as the club was disbanded after the 1996–97 season. In 1998, Voskanyan joined Tsement Ararat. Masis Voskanyan ( hy, Մասիս Ոսկանյան; born 11 July 1990) is an Armenian international footballer who plays for Sint-Eloois-Winkel in the Belgian First Amateur Division, as a midfielder. Club career Born in Abovyan, Armenian SSR, Voskanyan moved to Belgium with his family at the age of three. Varujan Vosganian (; hy, Վարուժան Ոսկանեան, born on 25 July 1958) is a Romanian politician, economist, essayist and poet of Armenian origin. Vosganian was Romania's Minister of Economy and Commerce (2006–2008) in the Tăriceanu cabinet and Minister of Economy in the Ponta cabinet (2012–2013).
