Volodymyr Vasylyovych Kovalyuk ( uk, Володимир Васильович Ковалюк, born on 3 March 1972 in Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a retired professional Ukrainian football defender and midfielder who has previously played for Karpaty Lviv, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Dynamo Kyiv and FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Kosiv ( uk, Ко́сiв) is a city located in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Kosiv Raion (district). Kosiv hosts the administration of Kosiv urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Its distinctive ceramics were inscribed to UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2021. Football Club Dnipro ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб «Дніпро́», ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Dnipro. The club was owned by the Privat Group that also owns BC Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv.
