''Vollies'' is a Canadian television comedy series, which premiered in 2021 on Bell Fibe's TV1. Bell Fibe TV is an IP-based television service offered by Bell Canada in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. It is bundled with a FTTN or FTTH Bell Internet service, and uses the Mediaroom platform. TV1 (formerly Bell Local and Community One) is a group of community channels operated by Bell Canada's Fibe TV and FibreOP TV services and are exclusive to those services. John Doyle (born 1957) is a Canadian writer who is a television critic at ''The Globe and Mail''. Early life John Doyle was born in 1957 in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland, and came to Canada in 1980.
