Volkswagen Challenger
The Volkswagen Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour. It was held annually at the Tennisclub Grün-Gold Wolfsburg in Wolfsburg, Germany, between 1993 and 2012. Many players won two titles, Axel Pretzsch Ruben Bemelmans in singles Robert Lindstedt, Jean-Claude Scherrer and Martin Sinner in doubles. But only Axel Pretzsch won both titles simultaneously. Wolfsburg (; Eastphalian: ''Wulfsborg'') is the fifth largest city in the German state of Lower Saxony, located on the river Aller. It lies about east of Hanover and west of Berlin. Arvind Parmar
Arvind Parmar (born 1978 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire) is a former British professional tennis player whose career ran from 1997 to 2006. After retiring, he coached British junior No. 1, Ahmed El Menshawy. and also coached another British junior, James Marsalek. Florian Mayer (; born 5 October 1983) is a German former professional tennis player. Mayer reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 18 in June 2011. Also in 2011, Mayer won his first ATP title after four previous defeats in ATP finals. Mayer competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics. At the 2004 Wimbledon Championships, Mayer reached the quarter-finals, which is his best Grand Slam result to date. He received the ATP Newcomer of the Year award in 2004. Dieter Kindlmann (born 3 June 1982) is a German former professional tennis player. He reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on 26 July 2004, when he became World number 130. Alexander Waske (born 31 March 1975) is a retired tennis player from Germany. Waske was ranked as high as world No. 16 in doubles, winning four titles. Robin Haase (; born 6 April 1987) is a Dutch professional tennis player.
