Volbeat
Volbeat are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, and rockabilly. Their current line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, guitarist Rob Caggiano, drummer Jon Larsen and bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen. The band is signed to Dutch label Mascot Records and has released eight studio albums and one DVD. Their second album ''Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil'' received platinum status, and their 2010 release ''Beyond Hell/Above Heaven'' was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving triple platinum in Denmark and Austria, double platinum in Sweden, platinum in Canada, 5x Gold in Germany, and gold in Finland and the United States. ''Rewind, Replay, Rebound'' is the seventh studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. The album was released on 2 August 2019. This marks the first studio album with Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass. ''Servant of the Mind'' is the eighth studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. The album was released on 3 December 2021 through Vertigo, Republic, and Universal Records. The album was preceded by four singles: "Wait a Minute My Girl", "Dagen Før" (featuring Stine Bramsen), "Shotgun Blues", and "Becoming". The album marks a return to a heavier sound in comparison to their previous album, ''Rewind, Replay, Rebound''. Like Volbeat's previous albums, it was produced by Jacob Hansen and Michael Poulsen. The album was released on 10 September 2010 on EMI in Denmark, on Vertigo in the rest of Europe, and on Republic in the United States. ''The Strength / The Sound / The Songs'' is the debut studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. Released in 2005, the album initially failed to chart. However, in July 2006 the album entered the Danish Charts, peaking at number 18. The album would stay on that chart for 21 non-consecutive weeks. The album debuted at #1 on the Danish Albums chart in 2007, making it Volbeat's first album to do so. Michael Schøn Poulsen (born 1 April 1975) is a Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter of rock band Volbeat. Prior to Volbeat, Poulsen was the vocalist for the death metal band Dominus. Early life Poulsen grew up in Ringsted, Denmark, which is about a from Copenhagen, in a working-class family. Anders Nielsen (born 4 March 1974), known professionally as Anders Kjølholm, is a Danish bassist, best known as the former bassist of the Danish heavy metal band Volbeat. Before Volbeat, he was the bassist in Dominus, which also featured Volbeat founding member Michael Poulsen. He primarily uses Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay basses, but is also seen playing a black Fender Jazz Bass and uses TC Electronic amps. Franz Gottschalk
Franz Gottschalk is a Danish guitarist and bassist. He played in the death metal band Illdisposed and is a former member of Volbeat, Dominus and Hypodermic. Gottschalk who is known under his nickname "Hellboss" was a member of the band Hypodermic with whom he released a record called "In Between". After Hypodermic split up, he founded the death metal band "Deadly Sins" with friends Lars B.(Koldborn), Rasmus, Huhle and Brian Jensen. Rob Caggiano
Robert Caggiano (born November 7, 1976) is an American guitarist and record producer. Since 2013, Caggiano has been the lead guitarist of the rock band Volbeat. He had formerly been guitarist of thrash metal band Anthrax and nu metal band Boiler Room. Career Caggiano's first professional band was Boiler Room that formed in 1996. The band caught the attention of Roadrunner Records after an opening slot for the band Orgy in 1999. After several delays, the band eventually got Tommy Boy Records to release their debut album ''Can't Breathe''. Soon after the release, the band broke up in summer 2000. Thomas Bredahl (born 2 November 1980) is a Danish music manager, former guitarist and singer. He was lead guitarist of Volbeat and is now the guitarist of Gob Squad. Bredahl joined Volbeat in 2006, and the band announced his departure on November 28, 2011. He was the successor of Franz Gottschalk, who was fired by Volbeat after the recording of their second album '' Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil'' was completed.
