Nigel Noble (born 1943) is an English sound mixer, film director and producer. He won an Academy Award in 1982 for ''Close Harmony'' in the category of Best Documentary Short Subject. Baby Cele - Maloka (born 22 March 1972) is a South African actress born in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. Career Cele gained recognition for her role as Kaltego Rathebe, a character she portrayed for eight years on the now defunct e.tv youth television soap opera ''Backstage''. She went on to play the role of Portia in the SABC 1 sitcom ''My Perfect Family''. Mary Kuksie Twala (14 September 1939 – 4 July 2020) was a South African actress. In 2011, she was nominated for Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Career Twala featured in several South African local productions. She had a guest role in the first season of '' Generations''. In 2007, she starred in local drama, ''Ubizo: The Calling''. Miriam Makeba
Zenzile Miriam Makeba (4 March 1932 – 9 November 2008), nicknamed Mama Africa, was a South African singer, songwriter, actress, and civil rights activist. Associated with musical genres including African popular music, Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was an advocate against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa. Born in Johannesburg to Swazi people, Swazi and Xhosa people, Xhosa parents, Makeba was forced to find employment as a child after the death of her father. The 42nd Cannes Film Festival was held from 11 to 23 May 1989. The Palme d'Or went to ''Sex, Lies, and Videotape'' by Steven Soderbergh. Bernard Gersten
Bernard Gersten (January 30, 1923 – April 27, 2020) was an American theatrical producer. Beginning in the 1960s through the early 2000s, Gersten played a major role in shaping American drama and musical theatre. From 1960 to 1978, Gersten worked with Joseph Papp as associate producer at the New York Shakespeare Festival. After leaving the NYSF, he served as executive producer of Lincoln Center Theater from 1985 until he retired in 2013, where (with Gregory Mosher, then with Andre Bishop) he oversaw over 150 productions. In addition to receiving the Antoinette Perry Award (The "Tony Award") for Lifetime Achievement in 2013, Gersten was the recipient of fifteen Tony Awards for his productions.
