''Voice – The Best of Beverley Knight'' is the first greatest hits album by British R&B recording artist and songwriter Beverley Knight, released in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2006 by Parlophone. The collection includes twelve UK Top 40 singles, including the newly recorded track and single "Piece of My Heart". The album also includes a second new track co-written with and produced by Chris Braide entitled "Who's Gonna Save Your Soul" and two live tracks. It was supported by the Voice – The Best of Tour. "Piece of My Heart", a cover of the Erma Franklin and Janis Joplin hit, which Knight performed on her 2005 Affirmation Tour, preceded the release of the album on 13 March 2006. The album was certified silver by the BPI on 31 March 2006, less than two weeks after its release. It was later certified gold at end of its fourth week of release by the BPI, on 21 April 2006. Beverley Knight (born Beverley Anne Smith, 22 March 1973) is an English recording artist and musical theatre actress. She released her first album, ''The B-Funk'', in 1995. Erma Vernice Franklin (March 13, 1938 – September 7, 2002) was an American gospel and soul singer. Franklin was the elder sister of American singer/musician Aretha Franklin. Franklin's best known recording was the original version of "Piece of My Heart", written and produced by Bert Berns, and recorded in 1967, for which she was nominated for a Grammy Award. "Not Too Late for Love" is the second single from Beverley Knight's fourth studio album, ''Affirmation (Beverley Knight album), Affirmation''. The single reached number 11 in the airplay chart and peaked at number 31 on the UK Singles Chart. At that time, it was her lowest chart position since "Sista Sista" in 1999.
