Nicholas Alexander Leendert Vlastuin (; born 19 April 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is a three-time premiership player with the club, winning in 2017, 2019 and 2020. He plays as a hybrid defender, adept at directly defending small forwards, taking intercepting marks and rebounding from defensive 50. Early life and junior football Vlastuin spent his formative years living in Eltham North, a suburb in Melbourne's north-east. He played his junior football at Eltham Football Club, Eltham in the Northern Football League (Australia), Northern Football League before moving to the Northern Knights Football Club, Northern Knights in the TAC Cup at the age of 14. Eltham Football Club is an Australian rules football club in Eltham, Victoria, currently competing in the Northern Football League. History The Eltham Football Club began playing social matches at nearby Kangaroo Ground, Diamond Creek and Greensborough from around 1904. Phil McGavin was listed as Secretary in 1904. In 1907, Police Constable "Ike" Stephens convened a meeting with the idea of providing entertainment for the lads and an outlet for their surplus energy. . Trent Cotchin
Trent William Cotchin (born 7 April 1990) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is a Brownlow Medallist, an All-Australian, a three-time Richmond best and fairest winner and a three-time premiership winning captain. Cotchin represented the Victorian Metro side at the 2007 AFL Under 18 Championships and captained the Vic Metro side at 2006 Under 16 Championships. 2016 NAB Challenge
The 2016 NAB Challenge was the Australian Football League (AFL) pre-season competition played before the 2016 home and away season. It featured 27 matches across 25 days, beginning February 18 and ending March 13. It was the third year in a row where the competition did not have a Grand Final or overall winner.
