Vlado Babić
Vlado Babić ( sr-cyr, Владо Бабић; born 1960) is a politician in Serbia from the country's Bunjevac community. He has served in the National Assembly of Serbia since 2014 as a member of the Serbian Progressive Party. Private career Babić is a medical doctor educated at the University of Novi Sad and based in Sombor in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. He was a member of the National Council of the Bunjevac National Minority from 2002 to 2010, at a time when council members were chosen by indirect election. He received the eleventh position on an electoral list led by council president Suzana Kujundžić Ostojić in the 2014 national council election; the list won only four seats, and he was not returned for a new term. Vladislav "Vlado" Kristl (24 January 1923, Zagreb, Croatia – 7 July 2004, Munich, Germany) was a filmmaker and artist, best known for his animations and short films. Biography Vladislav "Vlado" Kristl was born 24 January 1923 in Zagreb, Croatia. Kristl first came to international prominence for his formally challenging and rigorous animations, particularly '' Don Kihot'' (freely inspired by Cervantes' ''Don Quixote''). The film is a "graphical and abstract masterpiece which went beyond all existing conventions" and was awarded the main prize at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival. Kristl regarded this film, which was not his first, as the one where he "was finally given a free rein". Vlado Kreslin (born 29 November 1953) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter and folk rock musician. Life and work Kreslin was born in the village of Beltinci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia. He began his musical career in his student years, first coming to acclaim as the lead singer with the rock group ''Martin Krpan''. He later continued playing a mixture of Slovene folk and rock music with the ''Beltinška Banda'', a folk group from his native village, whose other members were all over 70 years old, and the group ''Mali Bogovi''. Vlado Košić (born 20 May 1959) is Croatian bishop, leader of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sisak. Early life and education Košić was born in small village of Družbinec near Varaždin on May 20, 1959 to Ivan Košić and Marta Dombaj. He finished primary school in Družbinec, high school in minor seminary in Zagreb in 1978, and theology at the Catholic Theological Faculty in Zagreb in 1985. Vlado Komšić (born 11 October 1955) is a retired Association football, football defender who played for clubs in the Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vladimir "Vlado" Kalember (born 26 April 1953) is a Croatian pop singer, famous for his recognisable, husky voice. In the 1970s, he was the vocalist of the popular pop band, Srebrna Krila.
