Vladimir Petrović-Stergiou
Vladimir "Vlado" Petrović-Stergiou ( sr-cyr, Владимир "Владо" Петровић-Стергиоу, gr, Βλάντιμιρ "Βλάντο" Πέτροβιτς–Στεργίου; born January 27, 1977) is a Serbian-Greek former professional basketball player. At 6 ft 6 in (1.99 m) tall, he played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. He is also known as Vlantimir Stergiou, which is his Greek-form name. Professional career Petrović-Stergiou began his career with Partizan Belgrade during the 1994–95 season. He moved to Borac Čačak in 1997. He then moved to Zorka Šabac for the 1998–99 season. He then joined Aris Thessaloniki in 1999, before moving to KAO Dramas in 2001. He moved on to Cáceres in 2002, before next joining Alba Berlin in 2003. Since 2009, the title has been awarded to the winner of a tournament competition between top clubs of each Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) season. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. It was held in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1959 and 1991 and in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2002. YUBA Liga
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2005.
