Vladimir Paznikov
Vladimir Paznikov (born 1949 in Novosibirsk, Soviet Union - died June 2008 Novosibirsk) was a Soviet international speedway rider who reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in 1973. He was also a very accomplished ice speedway rider and member of the Soviet team that finished third in the World Team Cup final in 1973. Novosibirsk (, also ; rus, Новосиби́рск, p=nəvəsʲɪˈbʲirsk, a=ru-Новосибирск.ogg) is the largest city and administrative centre of Novosibirsk Oblast and Siberian Federal District in Russia. Grigory Khlinovsky
Grigory Khlinovsky is a former international speedway rider from the Soviet Union. Speedway career Khlinovsky reached the final of the Speedway World Championship on three consecutive years, in the 1972 Individual Speedway World Championship, 1973 Individual Speedway World Championship and the 1974 Individual Speedway World Championship. He was one of six Russians that competed in the 1972 World final after strong performances in the Continental final and European final. He was the senior coach of "Signal" team (Rivne) (1982-1989). Under his leadership "Signal" became the champion of the USSR for three times in a row (1985-1987). He was the senior coach of KAMAZ (Rivne) in 1990 and Signal (Rivne) in 1991. Inzell
Inzell is a municipality in the district of Traunstein in Bavaria, Germany. It is known for the Eisstadion Inzell, an outdoor artificial ice rink that has been used for many international speed skating championships. It is now an indoor oval. Nässjö () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Nässjö Municipality, Jönköping County, Sweden with 16,678 inhabitants in 2010. History For many years, Nässjö was a rural village with agriculture as the dominant occupation. The turning point was the construction of the Swedish railways, Swedish railway system. The Södra stambanan, southern main line railway, finished in 1864, passed through Nässjö. Later, other railways were inaugurated, whereby Nässjö, due to its geographical location in the country, became an important junction. Vladimir Gordeev (born 30 November 1950 in Georgia, Soviet Union) is a former Soviet international speedway rider who reached the finals of the Speedway World Championship three times but was disqualified in 1971 for using illegal fuel additives. His younger brother Valery Gordeev is also a former rider who reached the World Final on five occasions. White City Stadium
White City Stadium was a stadium located in White City, London, England. Built for the 1908 Summer Olympics, it hosted the finish of the first modern marathon and other sports like swimming, speedway, boxing, show jumping, athletics, stock car racing, concerts and a match at the 1966 World Cup. From 1927, it was a venue for greyhound racing, hosting the English Greyhound Derby until its closure in 1984. The stadium was demolished in 1985 and the site is now occupied by White City Place. Viktor Trofimov
Viktor Ivanovich Trofimov (russian: Виктор Иванович Трофимов) (22 March 1938 – 1 October 2013) is a former Soviet international speedway rider who reached the final of the Speedway World Championship in 1972 and 1975. He also finished on the rostrum of the World Team Cup nine times between 1965 and 1976 but never won a gold medal. He achieved four silver (1966, 1971, 1972, 1975) and three bronze (1967, 1969, 1973) medals. In the speedway team championship of the USSR he rode for 18 years for the team, "Raduga" (Rovno) and won two bronze medals. First race - April 30, 1960; retirement - October 15, 1995.
