Vladimir Furdik
Vladimir Furdik is a Slovak stunt performer and actor. He played the role of the Night King on the television series ''Game of Thrones'' from 2016 to 2019. Biography Vladimir Furdik was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). Since the 1970s, he was a member of theater groups in Czechoslovakia. In the 1990s Furdik has already worked in Hollywood, first doing stunts for the low-budget horror film Tremors (1990 film), Tremors, but soon worked on The Three Musketeers (1993 film), The Three Musketeers. Furdik moved from the predominantly stunt work to direct acting in the 2000s. He played the role of Andrzej, a gypsy in the film ''Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows''. Game of Thrones Furdik participated in the production of ''Game of Thrones'', following the crew to Belfast, Spain, and Croatia. ''Solomon Kane'' is a 2009 action-adventure film based on the pulp magazine character of the same name created in 1928 by Robert E. Howard. Written and directed by M. J. Bassett, the film stars James Purefoy in the title role. Despite obtaining the rights in 1997, filming did not begin until January 2008. The film is an original story for the Kane character and was intended to be the first of a trilogy. ''The Huntsman: Winter's War'' is a 2016 American fantasy action-adventure film and both a prequel and sequel to '' Snow White and the Huntsman'' (2012). ''The Dark World'' is a science fantasy novel credited to Henry Kuttner, although his wife C.L. Moore may have been an uncredited collaborator, or possibly even the author.
