Vizadel Sakhrie
Vizadel Sakhrie Hibo (25 April 1943 – 31 March 1995) was an Indian politician and a medical specialist from Nagaland. He was first elected to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from Southern Angami II Assembly constituency in 1982 as an independent candidate. Sakhrie then joined the Indian National Congress after which he served as the Minister for Medical and Health & Family Welfare. Early life and education Vizadel Sakhrie was born on 25 April 1943 to Puhokhwel Sakhrie and his wife Vichosale. He passed matriculation from Kohima Government High School in 1960 and went on to study science at Kohima Science College, where he was among the school's first batch of 21 students to pass the pre-university class in 1961. During this time of his youth, Sakhrie also actively involved himself in student activities and served as the first President of Viswema Students' Union from 1963 to 1965. Viswema
Viswema (), is a Southern Angami Naga village located 22 km south of Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, India. With a resident population of 7417, it is the second biggest village in the state and is part of the contiguous built-up of the Kohima Metropolitan Area that extends into the neighboring areas of Jakhama, Kigwema and Khuzama in the Southern Angami region, forming the second largest urban agglomerations in Nagaland. Its vast territory also lies across the inter-state boundary in Manipur where notable features including Mount Tempü (Iso) at 9822 feet (2994m) also the highest peak in Manipur, the thick forest of Kezol-tsa and a major portion of the Dzüko Valley is located. It is considered to be one of the oldest Tenyimi village with most Chakhesang villages and also many other Angami villages pointing their origin towards Viswema. Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is a medical college in New Delhi, India affiliated to University of Delhi and run by the Delhi government. It is named after Indian freedom fighter and first education minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It was established in 1959 at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near Delhi Gate. Naga Hospital
Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima (NHAK) is a hospital in Kohima, Nagaland. It was established in 1905 as a ten-bedded dispensary. The dispensary was then upgraded to Kohima Civil Hospital with 60 beds. It was later renamed as Naga Hospital Authority. The hospital was conferred to autonomous status in 2003 through the Naga Hospital Authority Bill by the Government of Nagaland. In 2011, the hospital became the first in Nagaland to achieve the certification of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 given by the Indian Register Quality System which was undertaken with technical support of National Health System Resource Centre under NRHM.
