''Vivir'' (English: ''Live'') is the second Spanish studio album recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Enrique Iglesias. It was released by Fonovisa on 21 January 1997 (see 1997 in music). The album includes three number-one singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks charts in United States: "Enamorado Por Primera Vez", " Sólo En Ti" and "Miente". In the United States, it was platinum on 6 May 1997. This album received a nomination for Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards, on 25 February 1998, losing to '' Romances'' by Luis Miguel. The album received a Premio Lo Nuestro award for "Pop Album of the Year" at the 9th Lo Nuestro Awards. To the date the record has sold a million copies in U.S and over 5 million copies worldwide. Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler (; (born 8 May 1975) is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He started his recording career in the mid-1990s on the Mexican indie label Fonovisa and became the bestselling Spanish-language act of the decade. By the turn of the millennium, he made a successful crossover into the mainstream English-language market. The ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs (formerly Hot Latin Tracks and Hot Latin 50) is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Since October 2012, chart rankings are based on digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming, and only predominantly Spanish language songs are allowed to rank. The chart was established by the magazine on September 6, 1986, and was originally based on airplay on Latin music radio stations. Songs on the chart were not necessarily in Spanish language, since a few songs in English and Portuguese language have also charted. The first number one song of the Hot Latin Songs chart was "La Guirnalda" by Rocío Dúrcal on September 6, 1986. Luis Conte
Luis Conte (born 16 November 1954) is a Cuban percussionist best-known for his performances in the bands of artists including James Taylor, Madonna, Pat Metheny Group, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart and Shakira. He began his music career as a studio musician for Latin Jazz acts like Caldera. Conte's live performance and touring career took off when he joined Madonna's touring band in the 1980s. Neil Strauss of The New York Times describes Conte's playing as "grazing Latin-style percussion". Conte immigrated to Los Angeles in 1967, where he attended Los Angeles City College studying music, and entrenched himself in the music community. Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers.
