Swami Vivekananda (; ; 12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), born Narendranath Datta (), was an Indian Hindu monk, philosopher, author, religious teacher, and the chief disciple of the Indian mystic Ramakrishna. Srirampura is a town and residential suburb of Mysore city in India. It is located in the Southern part of the city . It has a population of approximately 11,000 according to the 2011 Census.
