Vivartia Holding S.A. ( el, Vivartia Συμμετοχών Α.Ε.) is a food production conglomerate brand in Greece. Its head office is in Marousi, Athens. Vivartia was formed by the merger of Delta Holding S.A. and Mechelany International S.A. This merger was the result of a process led by Justin Jenk, the then CEO of Delta Holding, Spyridon Theodoropoulos, majority shareholder of Chipita and Dimitris Daskalopoulos, majority shareholder of Delta. The merged entity became the largest food group in Greece. The merger was the culmination of a highly successful turnaround and improvement strategy put in place by Jenk in 2003. The major shareholder of Vivartia was the Daskalopoulos family until a 76.89% share was sold to the Marfin Investment Group. Goody's Burger House S.A. is Greece's largest fast food company. Its head office is in Building 14B, Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport in Spata, Attica. It was founded in 1973 by Ioannis Dionisiadis, Achilleas Folias and Nikolaos Pappas in Thessaloniki. It is the leading fast-food restaurant of Greece, having left behind the international chain McDonald's. In July 2001, after a hostile acquisition, Delta Holding S.A. became the major stakeholder in the company. In September 2006, Goody's along with Delta and a few more companies, started working under the umbrella of a parent company named Vivartia, owned by the Marfin Investment Group. Flocafé is a Greek franchise coffee house chain and belongs to Vivartia, a nutrition conglomerate brand that owns several similar franchises. With the cooperation of the Flokas family from Metsovo, well known for their pastry shops in Thessaloniki since the late 19th century, and the founders of Goody's, they opened its first outlet in Athens in 1994. Dimitris Daskalopoulos ( el, Δημήτρης Δασκαλόπουλος; born 1957, Athens) is a Greek entrepreneur who is known as founder and chairman of DAMMA Holdings SA, a financial services and investment company. He served as the Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) for 8 consecutive years (2006-2014). He is SEV’s Honorary President. Marousi or Maroussi ( el, Μαρούσι, also Αμαρούσιο ''Amarousio'') is a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece.
