Vitória Futebol Clube is a Portuguese sports club from the city of Setúbal. Popularly known as Vitória de Setúbal (), the club was born under the original name Sport Victoria from the ashes of the small Bonfim Foot-Ball Club. When it comes to main achievements in Portugal, Vitória de Setúbal have won six trophies: three Taça de Portugal and one Taça da Liga. Internationally, Vitória have won a Small Club World Cup and an Iberian Cup. Historically, it is one of the most decorated clubs in the country, apart from the Big Three. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA. The tournament ran for 39 seasons, with the final edition held in 1998–99, after which it was discontinued. The first tournament was held in 1960–61, but it was organised by the Mitropa Cup's Organising Committee and not recognised by the governing body of European football until 1963, when it was accepted as a UEFA competition on the initiative of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). From 1972 onwards, the winner of the tournament progressed to play the winner of the European Cup (later the UEFA Champions League) in the European Super Cup. Eduardo dos Reis Carvalho (; born 19 September 1982), known simply as Eduardo, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He appeared in 138 Primeira Liga games over 11 seasons, almost always representing Braga. He also played professionally in Italy, Turkey, Croatia, England and the Netherlands. The 2006 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 2005–06 Taça de Portugal, the 66th season of the Taça de Portugal, the premier Portuguese football cup competition organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 14 May 2006 at the Estádio Nacional in Oeiras, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides: Porto and Vitória de Setúbal. Porto defeated Vitória 1–0 thanks to a second-half strike from Brazilian striker Adriano, which would claim Porto a 13th Taça de Portugal. The 2005 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the twenty seventh edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portuguese football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). The match was contested between the 2004–05 Primeira Liga winners, Benfica and the 2004–05 Taça de Portugal winners, Vitória de Setúbal. The 2004–05 Primeira Liga was the 71st edition of top flight of Portuguese football. It started on 28 August 2004 with a match between Belenenses and MarÃtimo, and ended on 22 May 2005. Benfica won their 31st league title, with 65 points, three points ahead of the defending champions Porto. The league was contested by 18 clubs, and was considered one of the most competitive seasons in recent years. The first goal of the season was scored by Belenenses centre-back Rolando.
