Vittsjö is a locality situated in Hässleholm Municipality, Scania County, Sweden with 1,665 inhabitants in 2010. History During the Kalmar War, Vittsjö was the site of the 1612 Battle of Vittsjö, where recently crowned Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus nearly drowned while retreating from Danish forces. Vittsjö municipality, located in Western District Göinge, then Kristianstad län, was extended in 1952 through the merger with Verum and Visseltofta municipalities. A nova (plural novae or novas) is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star (hence the name "nova", which is Latin for "new") that slowly fades over weeks or months. Causes of the dramatic appearance of a nova vary, depending on the circumstances of the two progenitor stars. All observed novae involve white dwarfs in close binary systems. Damallsvenskan Teams
The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The two lowest placed teams are relegated to the Elitettan, and the two highest placed teams from the Elitettan are promoted in their place. Starting with the 2022 season the league has been expanded from 12 to 14 teams. The first Swedish women's national championship was played in 1973. Linda Charlotta Sällström (born 13 July 1988) is a Finnish international footballer. She currently plays for Vittsjö GIK in the Damallsvenskan and the Finland women's national football team. Career She made her debut for the senior Finland team on 31 May 2007; playing 17 minutes against Norway. Sällström missed the entire 2012 season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury. She re–injured the knee in March 2013 and was ruled out of contention for a place in Finland's UEFA Women's Euro 2013 squad.
