Vitaly Orlov (rugby Union)
Vitaly Orlov (born 5 October 1987) is a Ukrainian rugby union player. He plays as number eight and as a flanker. Orlov played for Aviator Kyiv, in Ukraine, moving afterwards to the professional Russian team of Yenisey-STM Krasnoyarsk, in 2009/10, where he currently plays. He has also been selected for Ukraine. Yenisey-STM Rugby Club is a Russian rugby union club founded in 1975. It is one of the two powerful Krasnoyarsk clubs, the other being their cross town rivals Krasny Yar. They participate in the Professional Rugby League, the premier rugby championship of Russia, and in 2015–16 qualified for the European Rugby Challenge Cup, making them the first Russian rugby union club ever to compete in a major European club competition. With an operating budget of €3.5m they are largest club in Russia. The 2011 Rugby World Cup was the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The International Rugby Board (IRB) selected New Zealand as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa at a meeting in Dublin on 17 November 2005. The tournament was won by New Zealand, who defeated France 8–7 in the final. The defending champions, South Africa, were eliminated by Australia 11–9 in the quarter-finals. 2008–2010 European Nations Cup Second Division
The European Nations Cup Second division 2008–2010 was the second tier of the European Championship for developing Rugby Union nations. It was made up of two divisions with 5 teams in each division. Due to changes in the structure of the European Nations Cup for the 2010–2012 competition, no team was relegated from Division 2A or 2B. The winner of Division 2A was promoted to Division One and the winner of Division 2B earned promotion to Division 2A. The leader of Division 2B at the end of the 2008–2009 season, and the champion of Division 2A at the end of the competition, received the opportunity to participate in qualification for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. The former champions of Division 2A were Germany who were replaced by the relegated Czech Republic. Poland won Division 2B and were promoted to Division 2A in place of the Netherlands.
